Kanchenjunga Region

Kanchenjunga(8,586m) is the third highest peak in the World. This is the one of the unexplored and virgin trekking route locating at the eastern part of Nepal. Trekking in Kanchenjunga is really pleasing trail that offers us wonderful snow-capped mountains, Landscape and exotic scenic view of the Himalayas. You can enjoy different types of small and high snowy peak above 8,000 m and below 8,000m popular peaks such as Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt.Makalu(8,201m) and Mt. Lhotse (8,516m) etc
Kanchenjunga trekking route is opened for foreigners for trekking in only 1988. Actually Kanchenjunga is a remote and undeveloped area as compared to other trekking destinations of Nepal. However Kanchenjunga treks is a really paradise for the adventure lovers. Here trekkers get an opportunity of a great walking through terraced fields, forests of birch, bamboo and rhododendron. Himalayan bear, barking deer and the lesser panda are among the rich animal and bird life that fill most of part of Kanchenjunga trekking. The breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Makalu with beautiful glaciers offers further excitement to all trekkers along this trekking trail. Besides nature the trekkers also witness culture and lifestyle of Limbus and Rais in this trail.

Day 01: Kathmandu –Fly in to Biratnagar and 6 hour drive to Basantapur)
Day 02: Basantapur – Chauki (2680m). About 6 hours
Day 03: Chauki – Gupa Pokhari (2890m). About 5 hours
Day 04: Gupa Pokhari – Nesum (1620m). About 6-7 hours.
Day 05: Gorgagoan – Thumma(760m). About 5-6 hours
Day 06: Thumma – Chirwa (1190m). About 6-7 hours
Day 07: Chirwa – Sakathum (1640m). About 5-6 hours
Day 08: Sakathum – Amjilosa (2490m). About 5 hours

Day 17: Lumba Samba – Ramche (4580m). About 5-7 hours
Day 18: Explore around Kanchenjunga South Base Camp.
Day 19: Ramche – Cheram (3870m).About 5 hours
Day 20: Cheram – Tortong(2995m). About 5-6 hours
Day 23: Tortong – Yamphudin (2080m). About 5-6 hours
Day 21: Yamphudin – Anpan (2040m). About 5 hours
Day 22: Anpan – Tembewa (2000m). About 4-6 hours
Day 23: Tembewa – Taplejung or Suketar/1780m-2300m. About 5-7 hours
Day 24: Taplejung or Suketar – Kathmandu.

Dhaulagiri Region

Mount Dhaulagiri (8167meters), the world’s seventh highest peak, rises majestically in isolation just above the deep cliff of the Kali Gandaki. Dhaulagiri circuit trekking is one of the challenging adventure treks in Nepal.Dhaulagiri round is chiefly attractive to people drawn to high mountain and wilderness, and requires an excellent physical condition and basic mountaineering skills.The Dhaulagiri Circuit has all the features of a classic Nepal trek.

Dhaulagiri Round Trek Outline itinerary

Day 01: Early morning drive to Pokhara by tourist bus, 6 hours, 200KM or flight 25 minutes, overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Beni (830m), 4 hours, overnight Hotel or Camp.

Day 03: Beni to Babiyachaur (950m), 5 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 04: Babiyachaur to Dharapani (1500m), 4/5 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 05: Dharapani to Muri (1815m), 5 hours, Overnight Camp.

Day 06: Muri to Boghara (2050m)4/5 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 07: Boghara to Dhoban (2630m), 5/6 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 08: Trek from Dobang to Upper Vungini or Italian Base Camp (3660m), 5 hours, stayovernight Camp.

Day 09: Acclimatization day in Italian base camp.

Day 10: Trek from Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp, 4 hours, stay in Camp.

Day 11: Trek from Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4740m), 5 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 12: Acclimitization rest day in Dhaulagiri Base Camp, overnight Camp.

Day 13: Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to French Col (5010m), 5 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 14: Trek from French Col to Alubari (3680m.), 5/6 hours, overnight Camp.

Day 15: Trek from Alubari to Marpha 2640m, 5 hours, overnight Lodge.

Day 16: Drive back to Pokhara
