Entry procedures and Visa rules

* Visa can be obtained either on arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu Nepal or from Nepal Embassy or Consulates or other Mission offices abroad.

* One passport size photograph is required.

Visa Extension Fee-

Tourist visa extension is done for minimum 15 days with USD 45 and USD 3 per day for additional days.
In the case of delay less than 150 days additional USD 5 per day as late fine.

Trekking Information

Trekking in Nepal has divided in some of grades as Easy, Easy Plus,Moderate, Strenuous and challenging.If you are doing trekking in Nepal first time, It will be good  to know which trek will be matches with your physical capabilities in order to enjoy your trekking in Nepal.

Entry Permits –

TIMS, trekkers information management system is required for all of the trekking areas of Nepal.For Lantang and Everest, trek require a national park entry permit and For Annapurna and Manaslu trek,conservation area entry permit.

TIMS can be obtained from any TAAN registered trekking Company in Kathmandu or Pokhara. If you are trekking through a company; the permit will be organize by company.Permit and Tims you must carry with you all the time during trekking and you have to show and entry at check post.

For trekking in restricted areas, you most go through the register trekking company and company will arrange all paper work and Government of Nepal( Immigration office will issue the permit)

The fees are as follows.
For Everest,Langtang,Rara,Phoksundo National park area-Npr 3000+13 VAT.
For Annapurna & Manaslu Conservation area-Npr 3000.

Lower Dolpa and Kanchenjunga Equivalent to US$ 10 per person per week for the first four weeks and US $ 20 per week then after.
Manaslu US$ 50 (Dec-Aug) per person per week, US$ 70(Sep-Nov) per person per week.

Nar Phu-US$ 70(Dec-Aug) Per person per week,$90(Sep-Nov) Per person per week.
Simikot US$ 90 per person per week.
Mustang and Upper Dolpo US$ 500 per person for the first ten days and US$ 50 per person per day then after.For those  trekking minimum  two person required.

Climate of Nepal:
Nepal has four major season.Winter,Spring,Summer and Autumn.
December to February is Winter.   March to May is Spring.  June to August is Summer   and September to November is Autumn.  Monsoon are from June till mid of September.

Tent Peak

Tent Peak offers an unparalleled view of the entire Annapurna Sanctuary and especially the wonderful circle of hanging glaciers and moraines surrounding the entire range. The normal route follows the North-West Ridge to the summit. However, the mountain has also been climbed via the South-East Ridge as well as the South-West Face. From the summit, you will have amazing views of about eight summits in excess of 7000m such as Machhapuchre, Annapurna I, II, III and IV, Hiunchuli, Baraha Sikhar, Gangapurna.
